Whattup Horsey-holics. I know it’s been a while but hey, I do have a life outside of Wrestling so back-off Balloon Knots. There’s been a lot of things going on in my life so I’m just gonna come straight atcha this time. No trash talking about who I’m gonna beat up or who I’m going to put under my cult leader like spell or anything. Just some things this week I wanna get off my chest.

First off, for those that don’t know by now I just want to report that MaMa Dorsey’s surgery went real good and she’s getting back to her old self. I never really got into detail with this situation but the jist of it is that MaMa had a blocked artery and they put a couple stints in. A couple months later we find out the stints didn’t work and they had to go in and do a by-pass on her. We were all a little nervous because of the history of bad heart problems that run in our family but she pulled through with flying colors and is doing well and we are all really happy about that.

On a side note, I got a call from MaMa Dorsey last night and she told me that they just took my Grandpa to the hospital because he was suffering from a case of congestive heart something or other. He is currently in the hospital and the doctors have told us he is doing well, so we are all pulling for Pa at this time. Never ends in this family I tell ya but hey, what can you do?

Another important thing in my life is that there is yet ANOTHER and probably the last Dorsey addition on her way. Yes I said her, the ultrasound said that it was supposed to be a girl, so in preparation we have picked out Rachel Lynn as her name and that makes the Dorsey household 5 girls and me, so to say that I’m outnumbered is an understatement. I’m also already thinking of creative way’s to scare the hell out of all the little punks that are gonna get their hormones running and want to date my daughters. I have some pretty creative things in mind but I still got some years till I have to break them out.

I want to give a couple of shout-outs and congrads to a couple of new couples. I want to congratulate Jason and Wendy Welch on their recent vows on the soft sands of Myrtle Beach and also to my big ol buddy and MY woman Jim and Kim Sherman. I went to Jim and Kim’s wedding this past weekend and it was definitely a memorable night for sure. The thing I remember most is the reception. I can’t imagine why, I just do. There was a good time had by all with the finale of the night being J.M. topping off the night of dancing with a 20 second spin-a-rooni segment------ TO A COUNTRY SONG!!!!!!! IN THE MIDDLE OF A BUNCH OF OLD PEOPLE. LOLOLOLOLOLOLOL……. Definitely good stuff for sure. So congrads to both couples.

This Friday, Shank and Dale are scheduled to be at the Miami County Fairgrounds to defend our VCW Tag-Team Titles, so we will be gathering the ever-popular “Yard Bird Posse” and making the journey for an evening of greetings and beatings.

The following weekend we will be in Lancaster, OH for a show with FIW. This will be the first time Shank and Dale has ever preformed for this group. We have worked there as singles competitors for a while now but this is the first chance FIW fans get to see the phenomenon known as Shank and Dale, so Lancaster…… Be Prepared.!!!!

OK, one final topic and then I’m done. This is a serious topic and it is a situation as to which it will prove to everybody just how good a friend I can be when I want to be. I have been talking with my good friend Mark Mattis. Even though we don’t work for all the same people, we separate business from personal lives and stay in close contact with each other.

For the past year or so, Mark has felt a little empty inside as it pertains to his wrestling career. In his first year as a wrestler, Mark Mattis was jipped out of an award that still to this day he believes he has rightfully earned. I have to say that I agree. And even though I am still lobbying to the “powers that be” to present the award to the rightful owner, it has fell on deaf ears thus far.

So being the good friend that I am, I figured I would do him one better. I took the liberty of taking pictures and wrestling footage of him and sending them to various magazines trying to get them to do a story on the up-and-coming great known as Mark Mattis. And it is my pleasure to announce that with my hard work and using my own name as credibility, I have found a magazine that is VERY interested in him.

What Mark doesn’t know is that for the past few weeks, these people have gone undercover a little and have taken their own shots of him. They have followed him to his wrestling shows and to his health club, trying to get the perfect shots of him because in my eye’s, he deserves at least that.

So after many rolls of film and preparation, the magazine is ready to hit the newsstands. Since I was the one who spearheaded this whole project, they sent me a copy of the magazine before it goes out and guess what??? Mark Mattis MADE THE COVER !!!

That’s right, he will finally get the acknowledgement that he deserves and I have to say, the layout and article really puts him over well, so Mark, I hope you like it. The magazine is set to hit newsstands all over the country next Tuesday but for those who can’t wait, you can at least see Mark Mattis making his debut on the cover of his very first magazine.

Congratulations Mark. You will always be a special friend to me.
