Cheap DVDS Advisor Live Radio Tour Drew Hanson Dirt Sheet

Whattup Horsey-holics. It is your certified Cult Leader returning with some not-so-good news.

I have returned from my visits with doctor's recently and I have been diagnosed with an Abdominal Hernia as I had expected. What that means is that there is a tear in the wall of my stomach about 2 inches above my belly button and the wall of fat and also my intestines are poking out of it, which in turn, looks like a big knot in my stomach. Sometimes it is painful and sometimes it is not.

Nonetheless, they have scheduled me for surgery this Friday, August 15th, to repair it and probably put in a mesh to hold it all together. It is a routine out-patient surgery but it is one that will keep me out of action for at least another month or so.

So all I can say is that I will keep you posted and will probably update you after next week as to how the surgery went.

Moving on, I just wanted to throw out a quick Yard-bird high five to Mark Mattis for competing in his first ever semi-pro football game.

I know he and many others are waiting for the rib or the punchline but, for once, there is none. It is just another goal in his life that is accomplished and when it is all said and done, he can sit back in his rocking chair and tell his grandkids all about it if nothing else.

Growing up, I was always pretty decent when it came to football but I didn't pursue it for whatever reason. If there was one thing I could change in my life, it might be to go back to High school just so I could play football and see if I really was good enough to play College and even Pro ball.

I must admit, I am a little envious that he is playing but I am very happy and proud of him nonetheless and I will definitely be going to a game to check him out and support him. I heard the coach told him that he is one of the best "NOSE GUARDS" he ever saw.(ok, I couldn't resist one in there)

Seriously though, he does play in the "WIDE RECEIVER" position, so I guess that is funny enough in itself.

hhmmmmm.... wears pink trunks to the ring and plays in the wide receiver position.

I'll leave you with your thoughts.

Next topic, I have been in contact and met with Mark Stone (previous owner of the now defunct FIW) and as a result, I have now became the rightfull owner of the entire Fire and Ice Wrestling Video library. I have everything that was FIW from Day 1 and the rights to do with it as I wish, so I can officially say that 1 more of my 5 project ideas are now under way.

I have about 3 more to go now. Of course, there is the www.cheap-dvds-advisor.com site that I have been building and tweaking and getting the master copies to the FIW promotion has opened up another idea I had on the back burner but I will not mention it now because it is still in the building stages.

When it is up and going, I will let you know. For now, I do want to send out a big thanks to Mark Stone and you can check out his twin brother, Mark Kenny, at www.holyice.com

Well, that about does it for now. I will update you on the results from the surgery when I get up and about.

Oh, wait....

Quick plug ... my best pal in the whole wide world won First Place in the Harrisburg Beauty pagent for the 25-36 month class. ok ok, this isn't a plug, just a father bragging so screw you if you don't like.

Yard-Bird on the represent !!!!
