Whattup Horsey-holics!!! I'm back for a quick update before I head out to the cabin for the weekend for a little R&R and a lot of beer. First things first. I want to send out my condolences to the family of Mike Ripple. I consider Mike a good friend and he has lost his father to illness. I've known Mike for a while now and I knew that he and his mother were having a long, hard fight with this illness that his father had so I want him to know that the Dorsey family will have him in their prayers. Also, I want to give a heart felt get well wish to one of the greatest manager's of all time, Mr. Wimpy Watson. Anybody that has followed the storied career of "The Orient Express" knows that for the first 3 or so years of my career, The names of "The Orient Express" Shank Dorsey and Mr. Wimpy Watson was the same as referring Peanut Butter to Jelly. There wasn't a whole lot that Shank did without Wimpy by his side and if I had it my way that would never have changed. Unfortunately things happen in this business and Shank and Wimpy haven't walked that aisle side by side in over 3 years but you never say never in this business and maybe someday Shank and Uncle Wimp will join forces one more time. Without a shadow of a doubt, wimpy always was and always will be one of my most favorite people to work with. I will hold some of my most cherished wrestling memories because of that man. The way I see it, any man that can calm down the maniacal "Maniac" Mark Mustang before each and every match while Maniac's stomach was doing flip-flops is the man in my book. Besides, how could life as we know it continue if the world came to the conclussion that it knew all the answers and Wimpy Watson wasn't around to change all the questions. Get well soon Uncle Wimp and maybe someday Shank and Wimpy will ride again. Well, I have gone through the surgery and I am recovering nicely. It's just one more scar to add to the dozen or so I already have I guess. The doc told me the tear in my stomach was the size of a half dollar so they had to put a mesh in to hold it all in place and things are looking good. So look for "The Orient Express" Shank Dorsey to return to action as soon as maybe a month or two. As I told you in my last column, I have obtained legal rights to the entire FIW Library and that it was the start of one of my ideas that I had on the back burner. Well, that statement still holds true but now Step 2 has been accomplished. After talking with Mark Stone again, I am now the legal owner of http://www.fiwwrestling.com . With ownership of the Video Library and now the FIW URL, I am now well on my way to gathering everything I need to begin the work on business idea # 2. When something happens with this, I will surely let you know. Well, that's about all I got for now. I need to get back to work on business idea # 1 and that is my www.cheap-dvds-advisor.com Web Site. Talk care Wimp and I will see ya soon. Yard-Bird On The Represent --- What The Problem Is???
